What is the University of Suffolk like?

Find out about our campus atmosphere, locations and general environment.

Background

Our university has 6 main buildings set along the Ipswich waterfront.

There is a library, places to eat/drink, a gym, and a variety of support from Student Services and academic staff.

Teaching sessions will take place in all main buildings, however not all courses will use all buildings. Please speak to your course team if you would like top know hwich buildings your course uses.

You can see our campus map here https://www.uos.ac.uk/sites/default/files/University-of-Suffolk-Ipswich-Map.pdf

How could this affect me?

The campus is bigger than you might be used to at School or College and getting confused navigating the campus is common for new students and when timetables change. Becoming familiar with key buildings and locations may help you to prepare.
