The East Building

The space within the East Building is allocated to a number of different Departments. The Department of Arts and Humanities have a dark room, a fusion suite and photography studio located on the ground floor, while English and History base rooms are on the first floor. One of the tiered lecture theatres can also be found on the ground floor, alongside staff rooms and a home for the Arts technicians.

The first floor is mainly occupied by the Department of Science and Technology with a state-of-the-art Virtual Radiography lab, digital imaging suite and diagnostic suite, as well as back up microbiology and analytical laboratories.

The second and third floors are used for a mixture of teaching rooms and IT suites ranging in sizes from 20 to 120 seats. The East Building boiler house is easily identified from its 100ft high chimney.
